Abstract
The effect of absorption on different designs of the interferometers of laser gravitational antennas for detection of gravitational waves is analyzed. It is shown that, for small values of absorption, the sensitivity of the Mach-Zehnder interferometer is higher than the sensitivity of the Michelson interferometer. A structure with continuous variation in the refractive index, which serves as Fabry-Perot resonators in the Mach — Zehnder interferometer, is considered.
