Abstract

The authors introduce the general concept of stability radius as a robustness measure for polynomials under structured real and complex perturbations, with respect to arbitrary open stability domains in the complex plane. General characterizations of the complex and real stability radii are derived, and explicit formulas are given for specific perturbation structures. >
