Abstract

Recent studies of brain meningeal lymphatic endothelial cells in mouse and zebrafish have raised interest in their function. In this issue of Developmental Cell, Chen etal. (2019) reveal new developmental roles for these cells in facilitating tissue repair and guiding vascular re-growth in the central nervous system.
