Abstract
In this paper, a method of evaluating the response of nonlinear control systems subjected to a suddenly applied stationary Gaussian random input with the mean value is described. Taking the d.c. component of the random input signal to the nonlinear element in the system into account, the nonlinear element is replaced by two equivalent linear ones as we already showed in our earlier paper. By using this linearization technique the response is evaluated by the so-called partition method.
