Abstract

The relations between the block LMS (BLMS) algorithm and the generalized sliding DFT (GSDFT) are established. The result shows that an N-point GSDFT with a sliding length L can be evaluated by multiplying the weight vector of the adaptive BLMS algorithm by the particular phasor components provided that the convergence factor /spl mu//sub B/ and the sliding length L are properly chosen.
