Abstract

Abstract The equations of the flow of a perfect fluid in a relativistic spacetime are considered, as well as their first-order approximations when the velocity is small as compared with the speed of light. In particular we study how frame-dragging effects in the atmosphere of a massive object may yield some clues as to the motion of fluids within the object.
