Abstract
With the development of information technology in this modern society, more and more educational technology is used in the teaching course. In the traditional teaching of English reading, the teaching materials are relatively monotonous and the teaching contents always lag behind, which make it difficult to meet the teaching requirements of diversity of English reading. There are many advantages as well as disadvantages in the application of network multimedia in college English reading teaching, This paper aims to find the appropriate English reading teaching methods by comparing the traditional English reading teaching with the English reading teaching based on network multimedia.
