Abstract
In this paper, we focus on generalized fuzzy complex numbers and provide several examples of membership functions and graphical representations of these numbers. Then, a specific type of fuzzy complex linear systems, called the rectangular fuzzy complex linear system, is considered and its algebraic and general solutions are defined. Finally an approach based on restricting the general solution is presented to solve a rectangular fuzzy complex linear system. It is illustrated that the proposed method gives a unique algebraic solution to a rectangular fuzzy complex linear system if it exists. To show the ability and efficiency of the method and for more illustration, three numerical examples including a real application in electrical engineering are modeled and solved.
