Abstract
The product distribution for the reaction of thermal energy N+ ions with O2 has been measured by ion cyclotron resonance methods. Three product channels are identified with the following fractional distribution: O2+ + N, 0.65 ± 0.04; NO+ + O, 0.31 ± 0.04; O+ + NO, 0.04 ± 0.02.
