Abstract

Purpose. Increasing the efficiency of the machine milking cows process by developing a mechanical and technological basis for the creation of physiologically safe milking equipment. Methods. Research and generalization of the world experience in the development of milking equipment. Experimental studies of the relationships between the parameters of the two-chamber milking cup and the teat rubber based on the general principles of mechanics. Results. The world experience in studying the issue of the negative impact of milking equipment on th body of cows in the process of machine milking is summarized. The design, principle of operation and results of experimental studies of special inserts for serial sleeves of milking cups and for milking rubber are given. Conclusions. The main factors of negative impact in the process of machine milking are the impact of the teat rubber during the transition from the sucking cycle to the compression cycle and intense mechanical impact after stopping the milk supply. Special inserts for milking rubber and sleeves of the two-chamber milking cup ensure the implementation of physiologically safe principles of machine milking. Compared to a typical two-chamber teat cup, the teat cup sleeve insert provides pressure equalization in the teat and interwall space in the suction stroke, and the teat rubber insert provides a reduction in the compression stroke of the vacuum pressure in the teat space compared to the pressure in the chamber of the milk collector.
