Abstract
This chapter discusses the relationship between recent progress on the normal Moore space conjecture and the open question concerning the productivity of normality in Moore spaces. The basic question is if X is a normal Moore space, is X normal? This question has often been raised but unlike the metrization question, it has escaped even consistency solutions.
