Abstract
This article is concerned with a theory of thermoelastic materials with a double porosity structure. First, the equations governing the infinitesimal deformations superposed on large deformations are established. Then, a linear theory of prestressed porous solids with initial heat flux is presented. The uniqueness of solution is established with no definiteness assumptions on the elastic constitutive coefficients.
