Abstract

The purpose of our article is to deduce whether it is possible to locate in time the solutions of the mixed initial boundary value problem in the context of thermoelasticity of porous dipolar bodies. In other words, we study whether the decay with respect to time is sufficiently fast to guarantee that these solutions vanish after a finite time. Also, we investigate whether the effect of the dipolar structure in combination with the porous dissipation and heat flux may or may not determine that the thermomechanical deformations vanish after a finite time.
