Abstract

The described ultrasonic method of detection is of particular interest in the detection of fast neutrons and in the measurement of very low fluxes of neutrons (e.g. cosmic ray neutrons). It may be usefully applied to the study of slow spontaneous fission materials. It may be used for measurement of doses differed up to about one hour, e.g. for the examination of cooling water in nuclear plants, etc.
