Road Collisions can be avoided if the snoozing drivers are presaged early enough. Sleepiness or tiredness is a main root of road collisions and has noteworthy consequences for road security. Driver fatigue is a very thoughtful problem triggering numerous road collisions each year. Research inferences that around 20% of the overall collisions happens only due to exhaustion of driver. A range of drowsiness detection approaches have been developed that witness the drivers' drowsiness state during driving then signals the driver whenever required to avoid road collisions. The appropriate features are based on vehicle measures, physiological measures and behavioral measures. This work presents a systematic state-of-the-art review of driver's drowsiness recognition approaches grounded on physiological measures.
