Abstract

One case of papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum in a series of sixty-three examined revealed large numbers of mucous cells within the ducts. Mucus was demonstrated by several stains. It should be interesting to determine whether these mucous cells occur any more frequently in this tumor than would be expected on chance occurrence alone, as mucous cells are seen occasionally in the large and medium-sized ducts of the normal parotid gland.
