Abstract

AbstractIn this paper, the multiband behavior of the Koch fractal monopole is considered as a function of its self‐similar geometry, height, and wire length. It is demonstrated that the outline shape and wire compression of its self‐similar geometry are primary factors in determining its multiband behavior. However, this behavior is not unique to the geometric details of the self‐similar fractal geometry. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
