Abstract

Two proper mixed problems of pure shear by a band stamp along the generatrix of a cylindrical elastic body are considered. The body cross-section occupies a region bounded by the sides of a wedge and by two concentric circles with the centre at the wedge apex. In the first problem the stamp is fixed to the plane face of the body, the other plane face is also fixed, while the cylindrical faces are either fixed for free of stresses. In the second problem the stamp is fixed on the outer cylindrical surface, with the inner cylindrical surface fixed, and the two plane faces either fixed or free of stresses.
