On the measurement of the tensor analysing power in proton induced deuteron break-up experiments

Abstract

The tensor analysing powerAzz is calculated in the reaction with polarized deuteron break-up d+p→p+p + n. Peculiarities and possibilities of the experiments with different kinematical set-up are discussed from the point of view what information can be extracted about the high-momentum component of the deuteron wave function.
