Abstract

Implications of the hypothesis that the halo is the major contributor to the Galaxy's interior mass (RR$sub 0$) structure of the halo, and a significant increase in the Galaxy's total mass is found if the total space motions of local halo stars extend to approx.425 km s$sup -1$. (AIP)
