Abstract

An eigenvalue of the adjacency matrix of a graph is said to be main if the all-ones vector is not orthogonal to its associated eigenspace. In this paper, we investigate the main eigenvalues of generalized Bethe trees and determine the number of main eigenvalues of some subclasses of these trees. In particular, we characterize the main spectrum of Bethe trees.
