Abstract
We prove that a Toeplitz operator with a complex Borel measure symbol whose total variation is Carleson is strongly localized, thus improving the recent localization results from Sadeghi and Zorboska [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 485 (2020), p. 16]. We also show that as a corollary, we get yet another view of some of the previously known results on Toeplitz operators with BMO symbols.
