Abstract

The characteristics of mudflow understood as a two-phase (in certain cases, three-phase) nonuniform, nonsteady motion of a non-Newtonian fluid are considered. An analysis of the dependence of the energy of a mudflow on time is proposed. The viscosity of mudflowis calculated on the basis of experimental data. The role of viscosity of mudflow in the determination of the energy of a two-phase flow is demonstrated.
