Abstract
AbstractIn 1950 VAN ROOSBROECK has derived a system of nonlinear partial differential equations which is used now generally as the base for numericla modelling carrier transport in semiconductors. In this paper we deal with the iterative solution of the linearized van Roosbroeck system. This problem arises from the numerical realization of Newton's method as well as the small‐signal analysis of devices.
