Abstract
In this article given intensive development of theories of hydrodynamics and mass transfer in chemical technology devices has attracted much attention to the study of separated flows in contact devices of heat and mass transfer devices, as well as in energy devices with various values of operating parameters and configurations of contact devices (CD) operated in them. It should be noted that the most knowledge-intensive phenomena for modeling in CD are the turbulent nature of the gas phase flow and the separation of the boundary layer.
