Abstract
Spontaneous volume magnetostriction and forced volume magnetostriction of various Fe-based amorphous alloys have been studied. Invar characteristics of amorphous alloys depend on the electron number per transition metal atom, irrespective of the kinds of transition metal and metalloid elements.
