An improved algorithm for testing mechanical stresses in trunk pipelines that are made of high-strength anisotropic steels is proposed. The proposed testing algorithm is based on using tensometric coefficients that are obtained in the course of testing samples that were cut out along the axes of anisotropy of a pipeline material.
