On the influence of the thickness of thin ferromagnetic film to its electrical and magnetical properties

Abstract

We found that there exists an uniaxial anisotropy of conduction in the thin continuous conductive films. When electric field E is applied to such films, there appears difference of potentials U⊥ (transverse voltage) between opposite boundaries of the film in the orthogonal direction to the E. The U⊥ and longitudinal voltage U‖ in ferromagnetic films depend on the applied magnetic fild H as well.
