Abstract

In work with the magnetooptical method, using Kerr's transverse effect, magnetization processes on the surfaces of polycrystalline Fe-Si sheets near to the (110) planes are studied. The influence of defects and the degree of the defects of the surface on the course of the surface hysteresis loops are studied in particular. It is found that the presence of defects on the surface of a ferromagnet influence the course of surface magnetization processes in a pronounced and varying way.
