Abstract
This paper presents a blind multiuser detector for Direct Sequence-Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) systems. The adaptation of the proposed detector is based upon the adaptive step-size Minimum Output Energy (MOE) algorithm, which can achieve improvements over the original MOE detector. In this work, we develop a posteriori adaptation for the adaptive step-size MOE detector to further improve performance of the technique. Simulations show that the proposed detector yields significant improvements over the existing techniques especially in dynamic environments where the number of interferers are time-varying.
