Abstract
Spectra of microwave plasma oscillations in an electric discharge trap are considered, and specific features of these spectra related to the instability of transverse current near the magnetic barrier confining the plasma are revealed. A relation between oscillations of the discharge current and the modulation of intensity of the microwave oscillations is established which indicates that the barrier region of discharge possesses an anomalous resistivity.
