Abstract
We consider A to be a basic finite dimensional algebra over an algebraically closed field. If A is of finite representation type, then we give a minimal lower bound m⩾1, which does not depend on the maximal length of all indecomposable modules, such that the mth power of the radical of mod A vanishes.
