Abstract
A recursive construction of the boson states ofUn⋆Un is established in terms of reduced matrix elements of totally symmetric tensor operators. The Weyl coefficients of theUn groups are given explicitly in terms ofUn−1 Racah coefficients. Alternative expressions for theSU3⋆SU3 state are obtained. The structure of the generalSp4⋆Sp4 state is discussed, and errors in a previous report on this state are corrected.
