ON THE FEASIBILITY OF TEACHING LIGHTING ENGINEERING FOR SPECIALISTS IN CIVIL SECURITY

Abstract

Statement of the problem. The article analyzes the state of lighting of industrial premises, which plays an important role in preventing occupational injuries. The issues of energy saving and energy efficiency are considered, which are even more important for Ukraine today than ever. It is shown that the maximum potential for energy savings can be achieved by increasing the rate of production of the most advanced types of lamps, cessation of production of morally and technically obsolete types of lighting fixtures, as well as due to the banal attraction of public attention to the use of new and economic light sources. It is also shown that important obstacles to the innovative development of domestic lighting companies are the problems of technical re-equipment of production, imperfection of traditional approaches, methodological and organizational skills of innovation, as well as technical factors such as depreciation of fixed assets, lack of methodological support for technical re-equipment. The main tasks that will help solve the problems of irrational use of electricity are presented. Objective. Providing fundamental training of highly qualified personnel who would acquire deep knowledge to perform professional tasks and responsibilities of an innovative nature in the field of lighting, selection, design and calculation of lighting of industrial premises and knowledge in the field of safety when using a particular type of lighting fixtures in different types of premises. Conclusion. When studying the issues related to the selection of certain lighting fixtures for production, you need to know the basic requirements for industrial lighting. As for safety in use, you need to know that industrial lighting fixtures on LEDs are provided with efficient heat dissipation systems, which makes them fireproof.
