Abstract
The integral dose delivered during therapeutic treatment, with X rays of half-value layer between 2 and 4 mm. of Cu, can be estimated rapidly, and with reasonable accuracy, from the curves which have been shown. The absorption depends principally upon the area and site of the field, and to a much smaller extent upon focal-skin distance, linear dimensions of the patient, and half-value layer of the radiation.
