Abstract
For the purpose of applying the result of Gibbs onto heterogeneous phase formation as well as to incorporate the effect of line tension in that case and elucidate the problem of nuclei participation in Brownian motion, we shall consider in greater detail the work of formation of a new phase nucleus from supersaturated vapors.
