Abstract
AbstractThe polaron motion in Pecar's model is shown to be possible only in ionic crystals with positive dispersion Ω2(κ) Ω + νκ2, at the velocity ν ≦ ν0. The expression for the polaron effective mass up to v20 is obtained.
