Abstract
This paper describes one algorithm to explicitly compute a field isomorphism from onto the Galois field GF and another one to explicitly compute its inverse. Here, is a number field of degree is the canonical embedding of in is a prime ideal in , the ring of integers of , and is the algebraic norm of . The combination of these two algorithms is a systematic technique to construct, encode, and decode multidimensional lattice constellations of practical interest.
