Abstract

The mean Oseen's tensor of the hydrodynamic interaction between any two beads in the modified Rouse subchain model is calculated using a conditional distribution function for the interbeads distances in shear flow obtained in this paper. With the so obtained anisotropic tensor the effective hydrodynamic resistance tensor, or the effective diffusion tensor, of a bead and of the entire molecule are calculated and discussed.
