Abstract

In several papers G. E. Subak-Sharpe states that the three terminal weight numbers (TWN) constraints, which depend on actual element values, are not derivable from the use of Kirchhoff's current law (KCL) and the network topology alone. The author shows the contrary. It is possible to obtain all the relationships and restrictions of the TWNs directly from the indefinite admittance matrix, and therefore, from Kirchhoff's laws. It is also shown that the TWN constraints are more precisely two definitions and one identity and not constraints. >
