Abstract
On the basis of a simple model, a demonstration is given to show that the rotational invariance is not restored in the limit N → 4 if the four-dimensional definition γ 5 = iγ 0 γ 1 γ 2 γ 3 is used in the interaction to calculate higher-order corrections. Also discussed is the implication of the fact that the Adler anomaly occurs for π 0 → 1 2 Nγ in the Pauli-Villars regularization method.
