Abstract

We consider the average internal energy of a random bond Ising model in two dimensions. The shift of the critical temperature is calculated by using a perturbation expansion for a narrow bond distribution. The critical concentration p c is 0.47 (0.17) for the diluted ferromagnet (for the model with ferro- and antiferromagnetic bonds) in our approximation.
