On the Computation of Directive Surface Plasmons Excited on Two-Dimensional Anisotropic Surfaces by a Tera-Hertzian Vertical Dipole

Abstract

A rigorous and accurate method is presented for the efficient computation of the directive surface plasmon polaritons excited in conductive hyperbolic metasurfaces residing in a homogeneous medium by a vertical Hertzian dipole operating in the terahertz range. Sample numerical results are included that validate the formulation and the associated computer code.
