Abstract

We prove the existence of a dense subsetD of continuous functions such that, forf?D, the reachable set for the control system $$x_1^{(n)} + a_{n - 1} x_1^{(n - 1)} + \cdot \cdot \cdot + a_1 x'_1 \in \{ \phi _1 ,\phi _2 \} ,x'_2 = f(x_1 ),$$ is closed.
