Abstract
Abstract A classification of various kinds of mixing in collisionless stellar systems is suggested. An increase of the quasi-entropy (i.e. a functional S* = ∫ C(f*)d 3rd 3v where f*(r, v) is the coarse-grained distribution function and C(f*) is an arbitrary convex function) is an unavoidable feature of any mixing.
