Abstract
We consider the Prandtl type boundary layer equations for a fluid with the nonlinear Ladyzhenskaya rheological equation. In a nonstandard case of a fluid flow through a confuser (a tube of variable cross-section), we study the behavior of the boundary layer and derive an asymptotic estimate for the solution.
