Abstract

AbstractThe Bose‐Einstein condensation of Frenkel excitons in molecular crystals is investigated by means of the Green's function method without the use of the effective mass approximation, the kinematic interaction between excitons being taken into account accurately. The spectrum of elementary excitations at low temperatures in the case of dipole–dipole interaction between molecules is obtained. The temperature of the phase transition and its dependence on the concentration of excitons are estimated.
