Abstract

The use of a constant modulus (CM) criterion to achieve blind equalization of continuous phase modulated signals is investigated. A characterization of the solutions is provided. It is shown that the constant modulus criterion may be, theoretically, unsuccessful because of the existence of undesired solutions.
