Abstract
In this contribution, we investigate the issue of constant envelope orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (CE-OFDM) transmission in multipath fading channels, by quantifying its bit-error rate (BER) performance with the aid of maximum likelihood (ML) detection in multiple-input multipleoutput (MIMO) configurations. Through theoretical derivation, we demonstrate the advantage of CE-OFDM over its traditional counterparts as original OFDM and discrete Fourier transformspread-OFDM (DFT-s-OFDM) in terms of BER performance, which is ultimately supported by the simulation results.
