Abstract
AbstractA new method for nmr self‐diffusion measurements, the spin‐locking echo technique, is presented. As with the stimulated‐echo technique, its application is recommended for large ratios T1/T2 of the longitudinal and transverse relaxation times. It is shown that the new technique is less sensitive to disturbances due to residual field gradients, thus allowing the determination of smaller self‐diffusion coefficients.
